What is in the bag
A 1970s rangefinder with a 40 mm lens, a hand meter that is older than I am, and six rolls in a cotton pouch. That is the whole kit, and it has not changed in four years.
The meter matters more than the camera. Mine reads a stop and a half high in deep shade, and knowing that is worth more than any new body.
For the darkroom: a cold light head, two easels, and a timer that clicks loudly enough to hear from the other room. Everything else I borrow.
